100 Years of Greensboro Transit: Giving a century its own visual identity
A centennial identity system built to carry a century of local transit history across physical products and public communications.
The problem behind the work.
Honor one hundred years of Greensboro transit service without reducing a century of history to a single anniversary graphic.
Strategy translated into action.
I developed multiple commemorative identity directions for 1925-2025, with versions suited for light and dark backgrounds and different materials. I extended the identity through a 49-page visual merchandise catalog covering shirts, polos, hoodies, hats, drinkware, bags, accessories and recognition items. Green, gold, navy and monochrome treatments were designed to stay recognizable across applications.
What the work delivered.
A cohesive commemorative identity and 49-page merchandise concept catalog, delivering creative direction for a repeatable anniversary brand across several formats.
