NC A&T + UNC Greensboro Orientation Activations
Meeting incoming students with relevant transit information, approachable merchandise and useful conversation.
The problem behind the work.
Help incoming university students understand transit options at the moment they are beginning to form everyday campus routines.
Strategy translated into action.
I personally led and coordinated 13 orientation sessions: six at North Carolina A&T State University and seven at UNC Greensboro. I established campus relationships, secured schedules, aligned university brand requirements, designed merchandise and displays, prepared staffing and logistics, and directed the student-facing engagement experience. The merchandise often started conversations that led to practical information about routes and access.
What the work delivered.
The combined orientation programs reported engagement with more than 3,000 students across the two universities. Reach reflects the overall program, not individually confirmed new riders or subscriptions.
Notes on evidence and attribution.
The public social-media screenshot shown here documents orientation communications, not attendance or conversion metrics. The 3,000+ figure is collective program reach from user-prepared records.
